  • 3D Video Wall in PV3D

    3DWALLPRO.jpgFlashloaded has released a new product called 3D Wall Pro which allows users to feed their FLV files and SWFs as well as Youtube videos in a dynamic 3D wall.

    This product is an update to a previous version of this product which supported only images before. A solid product and great fun to use.

  • 3D Ribbons in Papervision

    3dribbons.jpgJustin Windle has created a beautiful examples of ribbons in 3D using Papervision over at his Soulwire blog.

    “I wanted a Ribbon3D class which shared a similar looking constructor to that of the native Papervision classes, and which could easily be used in projects and manipulated in the same intuitive manner as the other 3D objects in the Papervision library.”

  • TommyTV in Papervision

    th.jpgTommy Hilfiger and Sony BMG launch TommyTV  which they call “an online evolution” of the Hilfiger Sessions music series.

    The site uses a cover flow type of navigation to select from the different sections.

    “Bands can get in on the act too, with the Hilfiger Auditions providing a global shop window for up and coming acts who can upload their music.”

  • Papervision3D Training in NYC

    richmedia.jpgRichMedia is doing a 2 days workshop of live instruction with John Lindquist (pv3D.org) in NYC this September 22nd and 23rd.

    The workshop will be focusing on creating 3D content such as a fully interactive 3d scenes with 3d objects, lights, shaders, textures, and much more.

  • Knappogue Whiskey’s 3D Postcards

    postcartd.jpgA nice example of postcards being displayed using Away 3D. Nice interaction effects allow you to view the card closer and flip it. Clean and elegant design. The project was developed in AS3 and uses Tweener and Bulkloader APIs.
